ramble bamle

Im Jade, the newest blogger here. I posted a tiny bit the other day but I've been ill :( anyway! I'm 18 and a student, studying health care. I talk. A lot. So who's better to blog than someone that loves to babble on! I'll be posting about films tv music games etc. At the moment im in love with horror films and French haus music so expect reviews of each! Thanks anyway :) keep reading for more babbling ;)

So to start my Sunday top tens i have picked a my top ten of us sitcoms i am basing how good it is by how much i laugh and how much i like the storyline of it. but before i stat my list i would like to say that i do love sitcoms and i will be doing my top ten UK sitcoms next week ans i have watched loads of sitcoms but not all so please tell me yours and i will try it and tell you what i think of it.


So to start of with the number 10 and this one is so funny its a kinda recent one and its

10. happily divorced, i just love that its based on Fran Drescher's real life with her and her husband peter you may know Fran form another sitcom that will be on this list so look down the storyline is just okay as i always think if someone done that they would be alot more upset (if you haven't watched it he came out) but other than that its rather good.

now on to number 9 this one is about a very estranged family life i don't usually like this kind of sitcom but the way this is written is absolutely perfect.

9. modern family it has a well know face in who also used to be in another sitcom what is also in the list my main problem with this is it doesn't have much of a storyline it takes about a whole season to have a main story but then this is also the good thing as in real life its not always funny so i do understand why it takes so long to have any story.

well number 8 is once again recent show but its different in that its about a now poor woman who has to work in a diner.

8. 2 broke girls it is more of a show that you can watch but if you don't like it you will never like it personally i like Kat dennings role and Jennifer Coolidge's role you may have seen Kat in Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, and Thor and of course we all seen Jennifer as stiflers mom in American pie.

number 7 is one of them shows that i can watch alot like i have been recently i have already done a review on this so i will link to that.

and number 6 i have also reviewed this week it is one my favourite shows of the past 5 years. so the same as last i will link to the review.

number 5 was in my opinion one of the best shows to come from the start of the 90's its about a woman who was dumped and sacked from the same guy who ended up working for a posh English family.

5. The nanny as promised its the best thing i have seen with Fran Drescher in if you haven't seen this you need to i just love her voice and how out there she is her clothes where amazing and if you have seen happily divorced you may know that the house they viewed was the house from the nanny in this sitcom we see how Fran becomes one of the family from starting as the nanny and ended up become the new step mum this show had a lot of big name stars like Roseanne (Barr) to massive stars like Celine Dion this show is fun for everyone i think.


now we are into the 4 i have been thinking about this for about a hour and now that i have came to my conclusion it seems right my number 4 was the biggest show of the 90's it was sold to more than 100 counties if you own a TV you would have heard of it.

4. f.r.i.e.n.d.s  i would have put it higher but i hate the will they/ wont they situations in sitcoms  it drives me crazy and it has a lot of big storylines the actors in the final season and maybe 9th i think but defiantly the 10th was getting paid 1 million dollars per episode and if that doesn't show you how good it was keep reading and i hope i get you in the mood to watch it the six main cast have done so well since as well maybe not getting as much money but they are still at it but the most funny things in the show was that oss was divorced 3 times once to a lesbian once to a English lady who hated Rachel Ross's true love and last was Rachel it had so many big stars come into it as bit parts and even made some big names i could talk about it all day i will do a post devoted to it sometime soon.

number 3 may have not had much seasons but that is due to John ritters death who sadly died on stage but i think it could have went on for at least 6 or 7 seasons.

3. 8 simple rues (for dating my teenage daughter) this show i think is one of the best due to how funny an life like it was Katy segal who is in the next show to was just amazing in it  but after john died she became the main story with her dad and estranged cousin and the best scene in the show was when she was singing click here for the scene or here for full song and i don't want to talk about this much as i don't want to offend people by talking about john to much so i will have to leave it now.

number 2 what also had Katy segal in it with as promised ed O'Neil was one of the first shows on fox.

2. married with children was such a big hit due to the controversy in it and how life like it was or at least how i imagined how American life is in the 80's it lasted 11 massive seasons and was such a big hit for fox to show that they don't care for the FCC and just kept it going and fox is now famous for being this way pushing the limits when i last watched it i was like 10 or 15 i cant seem to find it on TV anymore but the show has still stuck in my head since then.

last but no means least was one of the first sitcoms that stared a comedian what went on for 9 seasons and 222 episodes.

1. Roseanne. this show showed how life was like for working class family's and how that even some days you cant afford food but you will just have to get by my mum who worshipped it who made her family life so much like it we are an open family who can say what we want with alot of back chat and she sometimes doesn't care what we say as long we are honest about it just like the family in this show it has made such an impact on my life and maybe even some others life's it helps you deal with your own matters it shows that even if your life is bad there is always someone worse off than you but it shows the funny side of life with the us and downs of it all from marriage to babies to being one of the first shows to have lesbian in it i think the family had all sorts of issues and  has been through alot but it shows that family's should stick with each other and after all this it is still aired today if you haven't ever seen it i would really want you to as it is the most perfect combination of all family life.
